I posted it in other, now closed thread.
Engine choice is mostly economical decision. Each engine will "do the work" when $8k is high up front premium for driving diesel.
So all it takes is taking paper, pencil, estimate for how long you plan to keep the truck and having actuall fuel cost you will come up if the diesel will pay for itself, or not.
But when you get false data, whole decision making makes no sense.
Meaning we are wasting time dealing with "pot stirrers"
