Oh by the way does your truck smell like Burrito's with that Mexican Made engine?:)
Only if its running biodiesel!
My Son inherited 500 gallons of B100 with a house he bought. It ran great and smelled awesome in my 98 12V Cummins. - spoon059Explorer II

Hey FISH what say you?????????
I would say I've owned my '12 2.5 years and have 55k miles and not a glitch.
Best truck to date! It's a jewel of a truck.
BTW... It's good to see the number one selling truck being produced in America by an American company. :C
Oh and on another topic the wife finally decided on what new vehicle she liked the best and we purchased it last week.
The short list:
1. Grand Cherokee
2. Explorer Sport
3. Edge Sport
And after test driving all these vehicles she decided on another Edge but this time in a Sport model with 305HP. It's a jewel! :C
Thanks for the prompt response!
I just completed a 25 hour trip from NW WA to SoCal with my Mexican assembled RAM with it's many US made components including Engine, the full running gear, Alcoa wheels and many other options. It performed flawlessly with 53K on the clock towing 29K combined and netting just over 9mpg hand calc. Oh yea it has the weak 68RFE and a measly 350HP, 800TQ along with the wrong 3:42 gears. Pulled every grade along the way at 53mph or more.
It's nice to be satisfied with a purchase as much as we are!

Bigger chance of something going wrong on our cheap a$$ trailers than any of the newer built trucks.
You got that right especially the tires! On our trip to Florida this past June every afternoon during the hottest time of the day we would pass a truck/camper on the side of the rode with a flat tire on the camper.- NC_HaulerExplorer

What a bunch of crybabies. One guy takes advice from a guy working at a counter in an RV dealership, another reports how many Rams he sees broken down on the side of the road. Yes, we all have our preferences, but grow up a little and recognize that GM, Ford, and Ram are building very capable HD trucks, the best they have ever built. All of them are great choices. I have spent more time than I should admit working on old cars, and if you want to learn about poor workmanship, I can show you examples from the 60's and 70's that truly are junk. In today's world, if your battery goes dead or you get a flat tire, you complain about the manufacturer. Sheesh!!!!
Boy you said it ,Got tired of it myself and bought a swedish station wagon.

Just got mine broke in after almost 11 years and 175K. I think I shall keep pulling along with this one on very long trips like we did this year.

Thank-you for some common sense which is sometimes lacking here when the discussion is about pickups.:B - NC_HaulerExplorer
