As the OP I was trying to be as clear as I could be about what I was asking. I am totally surprised that the Ram guys chimed in with unsolicited opinions. I put no worth in any of their information, as I had already made the decision on GM or ford. I needed real info from real Ford and GM owners not opinion from the peanut gallery. I again wish to thank all the Ford and Chevy guts for your time.
I meant to add he hauls all kinds of 5er's and rear end sag has not been a problem.
