As the OP I was trying to be as clear as I could be about what I was asking. I am totally surprised that the Ram guys chimed in with unsolicited opinions. I put no worth in any of their information, as I had already made the decision on GM or ford. I needed real info from real Ford and GM owners not opinion from the peanut gallery. I again wish to thank all the Ford and Chevy guts for your time.
LMAO. Guess only Ferd and Chebby guys have big guts. I'd get the Chevy OP. So much more truck than the Ferd.... but then again they sell lots of trucks for some reason. Oh yea they have the F150.
Good luck with your purchase OP. At least you only need a couple of test drives to find out which seat fits best.
Good luck with your truck purchase...
Sincerely size 34 :B I'm out
BTW... The LAM guys need to learn a little forum etiquette, but perhaps are struggling from years of frustration.

I really have no personal info. on the 3500 But my close friend and neighbor bought a 2015 F-350 and put it on the road delivering new rv's to dealers the first of Feb. I talked with him today and he is back in Denver and now has 52K on truck and has had no problems.

I am still trying to figure out why Rams or Dodges are even being mentioned in this thread. IIRC, the OP specifically said this was between a Ford or Chevy truck and he was NOT a fan of Rams or Dodges.

I have never been a Ram/Dodge fan, the Cummins is a great engine but I feel that the rest of the truck is cosmetic and they are not built to last like a Ford or Chevy truck.
Okay
Even a few of these are still around:
Doesn't mean they are good cars. Or even representative of the whole lineup. Ram, Yugo, it's all the same. And yes, that's from a current Ebay auction.
Ask yourself this: If Chrysler made such great cars, why would they have needed 2 bailouts?

As far as the others, they can speak for themselves although I'm sure they have opinions like everyone else.
How far apart were you guys born, or are you identical twins :W

So is this an open invite for a "Ford guy" or "GM guy" to enter into Ram threads because they believe the Ram thread needs "extra info" on how he thinks his favorite truck make is better than the vehicles on topic? If they are doing this now and you don't like it, then this makes you no better than they are.

Actually go back and read. There were three "Ram guys"(ib516, rhagfo, and dodge guy) that posted mentioning Rams in this thread before anyone said anything negative toward Rams. If those three "Ram guys" would not have said anything then I doubt that a Ram truck would have been mentioned. So blast those "Ram guys" for not respecting the OP in the first place. Why don't you jump those guys? Oh wait, they get a pass because they are fellow Ram guys.
Just to highlight Shiner's comment... Well said BTW.
