Forest river hitch ball size

2 5/16 is pretty much standard with Travel Trailers. Should be stamped on the trailer tongue..Make sure and use the correct size.

It`s a weight thing. I had an Award TT that had a 5k lb GVWR and it had a 2" ball. I also have a 2" ball that has a 7k lb weight rating. but, basically any large TT takes a 2 5/16 ball.

A friend had an older Scamp trailer that had a 2" coupler.

With few exceptions that may apply to a very few small travel trailers - yes.

The size should be stamped on the coupler.

Our Forest River popup was a 2" ball. I think it depends on weight.
