Forests River Wolf Pup

When my son was looking at small BH trailers last year I helped him out a bit. We noticed that the WP only has one storage door on the curb side. the water heater is on the other side. Also IIRC the bed didn't lift up for storage. He ended up getting a Coachman Clipper. Rear side door at the bunks. Storage doors on both sides up front and the bed lifts up. He got the one with the sideways bed up front.

The small Coachman Clipper and Viking models are far better than the Wildwood and Wolf Pup of the same style floor plan. I looked at them all last summer, including the Pacific Coachworks and Gulfstream of the same floor plan, and a few others.

Viking and Clipper have a lift up bed to access storage, outside access doors on both sides to get the to under bed storage, power awning, lower rear bunk folded up and there was a cargo door so you could put things in from the outside, like bikes and lawn chairs.
They have a shower surround on the shower walls, bigger tanks, ceiling A/C instead of a household style window A/C mounted to a hole in the wall like the lesser models.

I saw a truck load of 3 Vikings headed west on I-90 in WA State today, which confirms they are not built in the Dallas, OR plant.

THe plant is Dallas is a small disaster area outside - it's a reclaimed sawmill converted to RV factory. I've driven by it a few times and the clutter outside makes me skeptical about what it looks like inside.

I live in florida and my wife and I are looking into getting the wolf pup 16bhs or a similar layout (with bunkbeds and around 4000 gvwr) We want to spend around $12000. Any recommendations for best quality of design for the price?

When I hear the name Forest River I automatically say don't go near it.
I am the owner of a 2016 lemon !

Coachman Clipper or Forest River Viking

I see that FR makes apex, clipper and viking, all with the same design models. What is the main difference? From what I can see Apex is more expensive down to Viking.
