Free short queen mattress

So, during our shakedown cruise in the Winnebago 2201DS, DW and I decided that the mattress that came with the trailer was not going to work for us. We went out and bought a replacement. So, we have one brand new short queen mattress sitting in the garage. Before I take it to Goodwill or somewhere else, I'm offering free of charge to anyone that can pick it up. Contact me via a private message and we'll work out a way to communicate and arrange for a pick-up.

The mattress is brand new....we slept on it for one night. I hope it can be of some use to someone that's on a tight budget and trying to fix up an RV.
  • Mattress is gone! Donated to Goodwill Industries.

    Please close thread!
  • If you decide on the Goodwill store route, call them first. The Goodwill stores around here will not accept any form of bedding, new or not.
  • We kept ours to put back in the trailer when we sell it.

I personally would not want a mattress from a person with the handle of B.O. Plenty.

  • Take it to W-Mart and give it to one of the street poeple who camp there for a few wikes.
  • Put an ad on Craigslist. You could even ask prospects to "tell their story" as to why they deserve it. Got a free tv that way a while back. (the kind you watch, not drive)
  • It would be a good time for someone to do a Sat. day trip to Cedar Point and get a new mattress at the same time…
