Fridge issue on propane

Hey everyone,

I'm having some issues with the Norcold n611 refrigerator in my Jayco Jayflight G2 25rks. It seems that if the fridge is even slightly out of level it will not stay running on propane. I can see the pilot light fire up then go out multiple times for about 30 seconds, then both lights on the fridge will constantly blink and it wont fire back up until turned off and turned back on. It runs just fine on 110v and is good on propane when the trailer is setup and leveled, but even when slightly out it will not run. It used to be fine out of level, and this new issue means I can't run my fridge during transport, which I have done fine for the last 3 years until now.

Any ideas what would cause this?
  • replace the flame sensor. It has a weakening signal from the flame and putting the trailer out of level results in less flame contact and therefore even lower signal.

When level it sounds like you barely have enough flame signal, out of level and it is just too low.
  • I doubt it has anything to do with level. Probably coincidence.

    Clean the burner and chimney.
  • Just a wild guess here. Mine would not stay lit on the road. So I looked at the pilot light and found a build up of really crusty ash like stuff all around the pilot light hole. I cleaned it up and no problems since.

Just something for you to check.
