Funny looking propane regulator - another rookie question.

I had the same issue. However mine was that the genius installing it placed the reg too low. So when they addeded the battery it rubbed against it and the single battery box would slide hitting it as battery would not strap properly. I notched the cover of the battery box on our first trip out and strapped the battery tightly with a tow strap. I was afraid the battery would rip it off on a turn.

On my list before next trip is to drop it a few inches to avoid contact. Luckly there is enough slack in the hose to do this.
