I probably should had explained better. I tried to keep it simple.
I had stored the TC in about 50F weather and left it plugged into shore power as I planned to use it a couple more times hunting in the fall. Furnace was off and not running.
Several weeks later, the temperature was around 32F when I happened to walk by TC and heard furnace running. Went inside and noticed thermostat all the way to the left in the OFF position.
I called dealer and they told me to look for a separated OFF switch on thermostat or on front panel of furnace unit. None was found in either place.
Called dealer again and was told to bring thermostat in and they would replace it. Hopefully with a better one!
In the mean time I have added an inline switch between one of the thermostat wires. Does not look too pretty, but it is functional.
Currently, when the switch I added is in off position, the furnace is OFF. No more using up all my LPG if I am not even in the camper to enjoy the heat!:W
Again, RV.net folks have come through with some well thought out suggestions.
Thank you all.
