OK - Thanks for the feedback.
1. I do not think this is a fuel driven issue. All other systems requiring delivery of propane are functional - WH/Fridg/Furnace/stove.
2. All systems - lights/stereo etc. - operate on 12 VDC without shore power and with.
3. Generator does the same thing whether connected to shore power or not. Just clicks - loudly - but seems like there is no "turning".
4. Given I made the most basic of rookie errors and reversed polarity on everything when I installed battery - requiring a number of fuse replacements including pulling my stereo out of the wall to get to the onboard fuse there - I have to believe I bollixed up a) some starter sensor, b) the solenoid, or c) the starter itself. (Additional observation is that the rubber cover over the cable entry points appears to have some heat damage.)
5. I already replaced the 7.5A fuse in the face of the generator - next to the flip switches to shut down output) and have tried starting with and without the flip switch engaged - IE with and without load - same result.
I'm not an electrical whiz - my ordinary solution is to replace fuses with pennies and if you don't smell anything you are good to go - but I'd bet on one of the three options under 4 above.
