Gettysburg TC Rally 18-22 Sept

Hello all,

Its been a while since I've been on as we've been getting settled at my new command here in Virginia Beach, VA. Next week I'll be heading to DC for a conference and I was thinking about taking the family and truck camper and truck along and heading up to Gettysburg for the TC Rally going there from 18-22 Sept. However, I don't know anything about it (if there is a designated area, costs, recommended things to bring etc) or anyone who might be coming. I'll have my wife and three children as well. So if anyone is going or can recommend what to take please let me know.

    Hopefully Cassie Anna our 14 y.o. DGD will be with us. As I remember there were some kids. This is the 200th anniversary of the battle with lots of doings, it should be of great interest to some of the youngsters. There is a tour of the battlefield on horseback that we are considering.

    Thanks everyone...I found the announcement on TC Magazine and schedule of events. I saw the picture from last year and it appears there weren't a lot of youngsters in attendance. The events and activities sound great...

    My wife and I will be there. Arriving Wednesday night and staying till Sunday. If You haven't got an email with the line up of events, let me know and I can email it to You. We will be in site #25.

    In a recent edition of www.truckcampermagazine.com Angela and Gordon gave all the specfic info needed.

    We hope to attend ourselves, we attended last year, it was a humdinger. Hope to see ya'll there.
