only frustrating thing so far is the fridge. Of course I have nothing in it. The ambient daytime temps are going up to 115 so the Norcold N7LX.3 goes up to 60 in the day ( camper windows are open and the AC is off}. The fridge returns to 34F in the morning. I probably can't expect much better from a gas absorption fridge though. I will have it out this weekend and the temps with only be in the mid 80s so I will see haw it does then. The Thermister wires were seriously kinked so it could be an issue. I have a replacement coming. Other than that everything works really well. First project besides loading gear is to fix the known wire issue in the kitchen slide. Unprotected wires running over 2 90 degree wooden edges which can bare the wiring and cause a short. Easy fix.
Is the side with the fridge exposed to the sun? My fridge would heat up when that side was exposed to the sun. Lowering the awning to shade the side helped greatly. When I installed the new cooling g unit, I also installed an inch of RMAX foam board on the exterior wall, inside the fridge compartment. I actually installed the foam board throughout the fridge compartment and it greatly improved cooling g performance.
