Grease bearings

Bought a new trailer last August and took it on a 4000 mile trip to Kentucky./ Only one short trip since (200 miles). Going on another 4000 mile trip next month. Should I grease the bearings again or will they be safe?

I have Dexter axles, and they recommend repacking the bearings every 12 months or 12,000 miles. Such an easy job, so I do them annually when I inspect and adjust the brakes.

You said "again" did you grease them once already? Check them when they are new to be sure and then again in about 30,000 miles or if it sits a lot, check them every 2 or 3 years. If the grease didn't get hot or run out then the grease is still there so it doesn't need more.
