Great Loan Rate!!

For that low of a interest rate,why the HECK NOT use someone else's money.. mine would stay IN the bank,or stock market. Now if rates were higher, that would be a different story

Good post. I actually did have a good friend who worked very hard at saving up the cash to buy a 40ft motorhome. He even delayed early retirement by two years so his diesel pusher would be the one of his dreams. Two weeks after purchasing it it he passed out and was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He only used it to rest in while taking chemo at a hospital 70 miles from his home. When he died it had 625 miles on it.

Granted his wife didn't have anything to pay for at the end but her memories of them on the road for two years would have been much more pleasant than her memories of him working those two extra years. Cash isn't everything. The moral of the story is don't judge how others live their life, their life experiences may have changed their outlook dramatically from your own.

IMO, some folks get a little too vocal in their opinions sometimes. There are nice ways to say things, not-so-nice ways to say them, and times when it is better to say nothing. We all need to choose the first and last options as much as possible.

I read things on here and other forums quite often that I don't agree with, or think is a bad idea, but if I can't comment in a nice or positive way, often I will say nothing. It is really none of my business if you choose to take out a long-term loan for your trailer.

I completely agree. Hey good for those that pay in cash. I can't do that but I'm not going to miss out on something that has been the best thing I've ever done with my family.

Do it but be smart about it like get the best rate you can.
I can't say I've ever gone through a campground thinking everyone had their rig paid for in cash. In reality, my guess is that's the minority.
Doesn't matter to me if they're all paid off anyway.
It's not a competition. I work hard for my money and spend how I want, even taking out a long loan others pay cash for.

wow just a little question about a good finance rate brings out all the I know how to live better than you responses. 2.99% is a good rate.
