+1. This is a great solution that we use also. the other obvious advantage is if they do get damaged (by trees, washing, etc, etc) you just find another clothes pin. - dixontravelstarExplorerI have found that clothes pins make a very cheap useful gutter extensions. Does anyone use the JR Products 655-FLEX-PW-A Flexible Extended RV Rain Gutter Spouts? What do you think of those?
I have these as well. They work good to get water away from the trailer. I do seem to think that removal of a screw is required and also the correct type of caulking for that application.........at least on my rig.............if I recall correctly. They are flexible to the extent that they would bend if you were to back your rig into a branch, or whatever, without breaking.
What type of caulk to you suggest that I use? - Bull_RiderExplorerWhen you're washing your RV with a car wash brush, go easy around the extensions. I've knocked off more than one. It's something that you remember only after breaking a few of them off....

They've been on for almost 7 years without a problem. I guess they direct the water away from the sides. But it's hard to tell since it never seems to rain around here.
- wmosesExplorerI guess "flexible" depends on the force applied. :)

I have had them on my camper for one season so far with no problems. They work as they are supposed to. They really aren't "flexible" though. I was expecting something rubbery, but they are really just like any other spout.

- DutchmenSportExplorerThese. You can pick them up at almost any RV dealership - parts store.
