We were going to take the lance out last weekend for our first trip this year. I was filling up the water tank while my wife was loading the camper when I saw water coming out of the bottom rear on the drivers side. This is the area where all my water lines and drain lines are located and is under the bathroom. Lucky for me there is an access door in that corner.
I looked and looked for something that was leaking but couldn't find it. I then noticed the leak had stopped. I turned on the pump but nothing leaked then either. So I stared filling it up with water again and withing a couple minutes it started leaking again. At this point I was getting frustrated and decided to try to find the leak the next day as it was getting dark.
I'm a little slow as it didn't dawn on me under Saturday morning that maybe since the leak was only while filling with water that maybe the hose from the fill hatch to the tank had come loose. Sure enough that's was it was. Under the kitchen sink I could just reach the hose where it attaches to the fill hatch and it was loose. It must have splashing out of there when I was filling it then running down the edge of the wall to the back of the camper and then running out there.
I tried to reattach the hose but it's really about an inch to short to get a good clamping force. I stopped by the camp store and ordered some hose to just go ahead and replace the whole thing with the proper length.
Just thought I'd share in case someone else would run into the same issue in the future.
