Happijac remote plug

Anyone know where to find one of these? (I'd call Happijac but they're closed on the weekend)

Or alternatively, how to clean out the corrosion crud inside the plug?

TIA, Rob

  • Been having a problem with mine too. Will get it out of storage this week and take it apart. It won't stay on unless I hold it in. Will try cleaning contacts ...

Otherwise, a Lance dealer is nearby - I've bought parts from it in the past. I'll call Monday.
  • Could use some Brake Klean or other brake cleaning spray.
After cleaning coat contacts with some electrical de-oxidation grease.
  • what does the back of it look like?
its probably a standard phone jack outlet (probably with some different order to the wires to make it cost more). If you can even still buy a phone outlet jack???
  • Lowe's and Home Depot sell phone jacks. Just wouldn't have the labeling.

Thanks for that idea. I'll check it out!
  • It's a standard phone jack. I replaced my cord with one this last spring.

Did that and it helped. But actually what I need is a new cord which thankfully only costs about $6.
