Thank you so very much for this info. I know that lower bearing in the motor is the limiting factor on these jacks, if not lubed twice a year.
The dish soap is a bad deal as it can get corrosive. I'd blow it back off and wipe the motor down with oil. You should lube those lower bearings and wipe down with oil twice a year.
