Happyjac slide out, normal operation?

I have a new to me 2009 Adventurer 950B, and it has an above floor slideout with two bunks in it. The bottom rails are at the dinette bench level. The slide appears to be a Happijac/Lippert brand.

I'm new to slide so I'm not sure if it's normal operation, but when the slide is out it's flush with the wall, and is supported well. But when powering in, the top appears to stick and it tilts the slide, and the rails come up some. The bottom will come in a couple inches before the top releases, then it come up at a slight angle and then comes in nicely.

Is this sagging/tilting down when coming in normal? Thanks for the help.

The way I look at it is there is nothing to support the top or sides of the slide until the drive mechanism at the bottom pushes it tight against the wall so it will flop around until the bottom is pushed tight.
If you push and or pull on the top when it is half slid out it will move considerably in both directions.

Post some pictures to start and see if you can notice what is holding the slide?
Some manufacturers used rubber blades on slides and those can rub quite badly.

Really? Good to know, thanks. It tilts like 2 or 3 inches down before it comes in, doesn't seem like it should be normal...

I have the Happy Jack system in my Okanagan, The first time I slid the fridge side out I thought it was going to fall on the ground LOL have had it for 15 years now with no problems, the one on the Dinette side piled up a couple times but ya I’d say that’s normal.

The camper is in the truck bed and level. I wish it was that easy. 😄

I learned the hard way that jacks don't always go with the same speed and camper gets twisted while raising or lowering. That makes the top corner of slide rubbing against the wall.
Now before mowing the slide while on jacks, I go inside and see if the slide is parallel to the interior wall, adjusting the jacks when needed.
