Heavy snow cover your ac unit
Cover your a/c unit if you are in the blizzards path . If the snow gets deep and it rains by chance the water can wick into the camper . The snow acts like a sponge . Better safe than sorry

To me if you are going up on the roof to cover the A/C you might just as well cover the entire top with a Sunshield tarp which also covers all of the vents.
