Heavy snow cover your ac unit
Cover your a/c unit if you are in the blizzards path . If the snow gets deep and it rains by chance the water can wick into the camper . The snow acts like a sponge . Better safe than sorry

Not saying it's impossible, but I can't see anyway what you are worried about can happen.

Ya, I agree. If water could do then it would also leak in a hard driving rain.
