Help! Shower leaking

I had a hunch to look under my bath/shower unit in the jayco today (waiting on the missus to finish her make up) and noticed water under the shower... I did have to re seal around the tub a few months ago and thought the problem was resolved. It appears the leaks are coming around the top half of the unit. There are little anchors going through The walls. And around the top. When I get home I plan on pulling the unit and accessing the damage. My question is has anyone else had this problem? And if so what are the solutions. Thanks

We had the same issue in 2 different campers. Those plastic rivets are not water tight.

I agree, we are out on vacation with it right now I plan on tearing down and making the repairs once I get back home. Just wondering if there are any alternatives to the upper section of the shower unit. Maybe peal and stick tile or something a little more water proof

Water can get in at the shower valves. Those that are mounted in a corner seem to be particularly bad and really need to be taken apart and re-installed using massive amounts of caulk.

The area around the p trap is all dry it's the back corner area that is Wet. Which makes me think the surround around the unit is the culprit. Just trying to figure out alternatives to the surround that protects wall during showers

The P-Trap under my shower had cracked and caused this issue. I had to remove the shower surround to install a rubber P-trap.

Try to isolate if leak is from incoming pressure side or discharge side. (Incoming pressure side) Might be simple fix to tighten loose connection of hot or cold at back of water valves. Sometimes access is more of a hassle than fixing.

If you're unlucky and you have a shower diverter pipe behind the wall or shower enclosure (instead of a hose at shower faucet to shower head) maybe a disgruntled employee put about 20 holes in it with a nail gun in the pipe when making it. Which water only leaks when diverter is in use and took 2 years for leak to show up. By that time warranty is over and dealer says "sorry not our problem". One reason why we only use water in self contain mode and never city water. And will never again buy a new RV off the lot.

Check all the fittings behind the shower access panel. When we took delivery with new Jayco last august noticed little puddle next to toilet and a fitting was loose near back of toilet. Proceeded to check all the water supply fittings in the camper and under the shower fitting was not tight either. It was a slow drip. Under the kitchen sink fittings I tightened also.

Thanks I did check there first under the drain connection is dry aswell as the faucet fitting area is dry. It appears to be running down the wall during showers
