Help....Viewfinder Travel Trailer

I some how posted this in the 5th wheel section....Thinking very seriously about purchasing a Viewfinder 21ks, but have heard in the past they are not well made and/or there has been problems. I was told a new company or division was now making them since about 2014, but can't confirm. Any and all info, comments, etc would be greatly appreciated. Wife is retiring in about 2 to 3 months and we plan on doing some traveling...Thanks
  • We also have a Viewfinder Signature V32RLSS and love it. Ours is a 2104 and is the second Viewfinder we have owned. Our previous was a 2012 V28RLS was also great. Very minor issues with either. The dealer and factory were always very helpful with repairs.
  • We bought out 2015 Viewfinder Signature 32RLSS the middle of January of this year. We absolutely love it! Seems very well made and on par with others in its price point or maybe a bit better. We have taken five trips in it so far and will be taking out sixth trip in nine days!!!

We have had just a few minor issues that they fixed under warranty. We like the decor as we think it will be relevant longer than other interior schemes we looked at.

Good luck with your decision. We looked for two years and walked through so many different manufacturers and floor plans.
  • We have 2015 Viewfinder Signature 22RBDS and love it. Exceptional interior storage and large pass through basement. Well made throughout with one exception,TV supposed to rotate 180 degrees for viewing in bedroom or livingroom but can not be rotated without disconnecting power cord and cable. Not a problem for us since we read rather than watch TV in bed but it is poorly thought out design.
  • We had a 2012 ViewFinder 24SD and really liked it.

Yes, Thor is the parent company of Heartland which acquired CruiserRV this year. I haven't heard anything about what this means, if anything, as far as possible changes in quality.
