High end, low weight TT?

Is there a good quality (high end) TT for 2 people that weighs under 6000#? We are considering changing from our motorhome (Winnebago Aspect) to a TT, but the quality and features don't seam to be there.

We looked at Airstream; nice, but almost zero outside storage space (silly price). Lance are nice too, but stepping up into dinette is strange to me (not exactly a flush slide-out). Tiny trash bin in the counter is cute, but not very useful.

The offerings in light weight TT would be very appealing if we were moving up from a tent or pop-up, but we are looking to reduce size and maintain quality.

Any suggestions for a good quality, high end TT that is under 6000#? (Please, don't recommend a larger unit)

My wife and I really enjoy our Camplite 21BHS from LivinLite. It has a GVWR of 6000 pounds and a dry weight of 3600. We usually weigh in around 4500 pounds. The camper tows great with our Ram 1500, and know several people who tow with vehicles like the Grand Cherokee.

Ditto Camplite and colliehauler mentioned Oliver. Don't forgot about them. Sure seems to fit your bill. I'd have to get used to camping inside the space station, but the quality is there for sure, really neat manufacturing story.

I have not owned TT from either of these manufacturers, but based on their construction methods, I would definitely call them "top of the line" !

The Camplite 21BHS would be my "perfect" TT if it had a Murphy bed instead of the typical camper queen. I just don't like walking in to a TT with the bed being the first thing you see.

Pretty Cool rig for two. Reading through the owner's blog, they all act like they've got the best kept secret in campers, they really like them.

Lance claims two things on their slide height. One, having the slide raised allows them to keep the floor of the trailer that much lower, which keeps the center of gravity lower. Two, their slide is fully insulated in the bottom. I agree though that Lance isn't near top end class A build quality, but also not near the price.

Take a look at Outdoors RV, Creekside, Titanium series line.
All Creeksides under 6000#, Titanium is their top of the line, in the weight class.
Outdoors RV Creekside/Titanium series

Cousin to Northwood's Artic Fox etc. 4 seasons, all aluminum superstructure, HD frame with off road suspension system makes them tow great. This one has the solar package installed. Thermal pane windows etc, They may not look high-end at first glance, but go to the mfr. site and watch the construction videos, a great job of explaining the product and the market they are trying to reach. You could certainly spend more, but I'm not sure you really get more in a travel trailer.

If the goal is to downsize then one other option may also be worth exploring. Class B. You can reduce the size and still maintain build quality with several product lines there.

How's about Safari Condo? They're not mass produced, but rather built to order so would I bet on the build quality being very high.

Winnebago, Livinlite, Oliver, Bigfoot, Artic Fox and the two you mentioned would be the premium brands I would know of. Usually the higher end use Azdel instead of luan in conventional construction. Airstream and Livinlite use Aluminum. Bigfoot and Oliver use molded fiberglass. Artic Fox is conventional construction but lower production runs and better quality.
