Thank you for the replies and for the record I'm glad we waited it out. Our only connection was two radio stations reporting either 30 or 50 mph winds and we were getting rocked pretty good with the stabs down. White knuckling thru the Rockies never makes for a good day and getting hit by a hard blast while taking a hairpin curve can't be good.
We have sway control and it's never been a issue. That doesn't keep the whole rig from being pushed into the next lane. We drove back from Seattle and hit high winds in Wyoming. The semis weren't being toppled, they were being pushed off the road.
