hitch

I noticed that on my trailer hitch, specifically where the knob is to attach the sway control, there appears to be just a slight bend. It could have always been there and I not noticed. Is this normal? It is ever so slight but there is a definite slight curve.

    Did you make a hard turn while backing? IF so. Prolly what caused it. That's why the directions say to remove it while backing.

    Mine is clearly bent. The previous owner may have turned way too tight and caused the bend. I haven't had any adverse effects with mine.
