Whether any microwave oven may run properly with a 2K genset supplying power is hit & miss as it depends so much on the specifics of the oven. Our current Freedom Express has an Advent brand MW rated @ 900 watts ... I have no idea what it actually draws as I've never bothered measuring it but it ran fine with my Honda EU2000i powering the trailer, as did the Dometic MW we had in our previous KZ Spree. Anecdotal stories like this however really don't mean much as this doesn't mean someone else's MW would run equally well in similar circumstances. If powering a MW is so important get a bigger genset. ;)
