A properly setup TC rig can easily be on a sand beach, a mountain top, deep in the woods, down a 2 track, or where there's no road at all. Of course, there's some regions or areas of our country where it may not be safe to do it alone but there are so many where it's safe and legal to do so and most are in the northern half of the USA and in Canada/Alaska where there are actual real forests and clean inland lakes/rivers/streams in abundance.
