How to register a car I bought while traveling???

I live in Michigan. My RV insurance is from Michigan. Im in New Mexico. I want to buy a used car, and get insurance and register it to start driving it right away. Has anyone ever done this? I...

Contact the DMV in the county where you ultimately will be registering the car. They should be able to provide you with the necessary tax rate and all the fees assoc with registering the vehicle and properly answer any questions you may have.
