On the other hand, in states like California, a truck camper is considered cargo, and it is illegal to move a license plate from the registered vehicle to its cargo. I bought my camper in Arizona - no plates required there and I hauled the camper up to Washington - do I need plates?
My Bill of Sale shows Arizona and my address in Arizona. I'm not buying Washington plates for it.
