Hybrids going by the wayside?

I am with dadmomh. I am in CA and I see a lot of Hybrids in our travels. In fact, about a month ago at Chula Vista RV Park, there were five of em lined up in a row in the ocean view sites, and none of us knew each other!
I know that Jayco has several Hybrids with slides, as do several of the other manufacturer's. I like the slides and the space they provide, but keep in mind, they add a lot of extra weight to pull. I'd rather be a little cramped and lighter for easier towing.
