I did not see this philosophy expanded on inthis topic conversation... I have heard similar to what the above captions states, but IIRC there is a lapse in coverage if one were to remove the TC out in the woods or in a campground and something were to happen because it is neither "at home" nor "on the truck" if one were to use this home/ truck coverage and not a specific TC policy
Aslo- one conversation I had with an insurance company wanted to in sure my TC as a general camper coverage policy. When I pressed them further, they stated it was for a towed camper. I pressed them to make sure that it included truck camper coverage. When they would not specify this specific type of RV- I walked away.
Make sure that the insurance folks with whom you are talking WILL write the coverage for a truck camper type RV.
