Interior Wall Separating

I have an interior wall panel that is pulling away from the stud. It looks like the assembler ran out of staples about half way down the wall. The dark vertical line in the photo is the bulge in the wall paper where the panel is not fastened. The wall is bulging out about 1/8".

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this without removing the wall paper or nailing through it?

Thanks in advance!
  • Possibly you could peel away the wallpaper in those spots where you want to renail then put it back with Seam Sealer.

    .... sigh ...
  • Yep, it's under warranty. Kinda makes me nervous how they may repair it. I'll have to have a chat with my dealer techs.

I was thinking about a brad nailer. I was afraid it would pull through over time.
  • Our 2014 Prime Time Avenger had a panel that had no staples at the seam behind the shower panel. it only had the seam tape covering the gap from the ceiling trim to the top of the shower wall panel. I have my doubts about any staples behind the panel.I used "Headless" wire brads to attach the panel and a color match putty to cover and seal the holes. It has held for a year a half.
  • Your photo isn't working - s/b a sticky thread on how to post pictures and a picture would help a bunch.

Is the rig new and under warranty?
