Is the SaniFlush back flow purge valve really necessary.
While winterizing my TT, when I pushed in the SaniFlush purge valve, it shot out like a bullet never to be found. Do I really need that thing? Isn't it really just there for code as a back flow preventer? Is it relatively a safe bet for me to skip the hassle of cracking he seal on the back if the trailer in order to pull it off and install this new fitting I bought? It's not as simple as pushing in a new purge valve as you have to crack out the flanged fitting and all to do it.
