From the way I understand it doesn't necessarily have to be a large number to gain class action status. As long as the attorneys, in good faith, believe there are a number of others who are similarly affected then they can get certification. Could be as low as 20 really.
Right, but 20 is more than 1. Usually to certify a class, you have to have a pretty decent number of people all in the same boat.
But at any rate, my point was, if this is a class action, it means that it isn't an issue of one dealership making a mistake with one truck.
