We just bought our 3rd Jayco trailer. Our first was a 1993 1208 PUP, the last one was a 2003 Kiwi 17A HHT, and the new one is a 2013 Jay Feather X20E HHT (not in my sig yet!). Never had any real problems with the PUP or the first HTT and we had each of them for 10 years. The new HTT just finished its maiden voyage yesterday. The fit and finish of both HTTs was/is very good. Not perfect, but very good.
Keep in mind that every brand has some lemons and you will read some negative things about all of them. But you will find that the overwhelming majority of Jayco owners are pretty happy.
