by towing heavy, I doubt you'll ever hear anyone say they don't even know its back there .... towing it with a friend's 2012 F350 single rear wheel .... balance seemed to be good .... he has an Jayco Eagle 313RKS 5er which has an empty weight of well over 1,000 pounds higher than the 338RLTS .... realizing its subjective, having pulled both it seemed to me that the 338 seemed to be heavier in the way the truck reacted to towing it .... don't get me wrong, the Ford had plenty of power to handle the load .... wish I could offer a more objective assessment

I hate to keep bugging you Jim, but do you think the difference in the way the two pulled is the inherent difference between a 5er and a TT?
I think it's the 5er / TT thing that feels different. The TH I traded in on our 338RETS weighs about the same as the new trailer (+/- 250lbs) and I towed the two of them back to back within a few hours of each other and I think they felt pretty much the same, just a bit longer.
