ok people we are looking at a 2015 Jayco X23F and one thing we noticed is there is not one drawer in this unit. anyone have one and if so, what did you do with your silverware?

We have a 2013 Jay Feather X23F and found we needed drawers also. The pantry is great but dark and not very functional. I found some custom order drawers and hardware on the internet and installed them. I used bottom mount slides and just attached to the shelves. We stock our canned foods, boxes, cooking utensils etc. It really is a big improvement. Now I have to find the site again as I want to add a pull out drawer under the sink as well.

Thanks! My wife loves these. Yes, I never quite understood why they put in at least one drawer. Our old 17 ft HHT had one, but not this one. Obviously it wasn't enough to keep us from buying it. Aside from that and one or two other small annoyances, the floor plan is perfect.

now that is sweet! Nice job! stinks that you have to do a mod like that on a new unit...sometimes you wonder if the design team has ever camped before...LOL

We have an X20E that has the same issue, not one drawer. So I made my own in one section of the pantry. The drawers themselves were custom ordered from Barker Door. Excellent quality, reasonably priced. The whole thing cost me around $75. It's the single best mod I've done.
