- Me_AgainExplorer IIISome would say you have seen the light, not moved to the dark side. No spark plugs required! And you choose to not be over piston'd! 6 in a row, made to tow! Chris
- Bionic_ManExplorerCongrats on the new ride!
- KKELLER14KExplorer IIYou won't even know it's there...what do want to do for additions? I would opt for a tire pressure monitor system.. anyone think that's a start? It's a good safety consideration for a few hundred bucks.
- IdaDExplorerYou'll love it. I just got back home from a 2000 mile tow that included everything from 8 lane freeways at sea level to 8000'+ passes thru the western mountains. I can't say as I enjoyed the urban bit but out on the highway towing was a pleasure whether it was flat, uphill or downhill. I have nearly 17,000 miles on my 2015 and no hiccups yet - so far it's been a great tow vehicle, daily driver and family hauler.

What are you planning to tow??
Towing the trailer in my sig; 35ft Windjammer, about 8300 GVWR. I towed this trailer for a short while with my Tundra, but knew I would be moving up to a 2500 series truck. The Tundra was a great truck, never a single problem in 110,000 miles, but this trailer needed a 2500.
I'll be setting up my Equalizer hitch this weekend for a local trip in the mountains the following weekend.
Better make sure you have your mirrors set up perfectly!!!
You will constantly be looking behind you to make sure there is actually a trailer behind you!
Congrats - Ron3rdExplorer III
