- campiglooExplorerI feel for ya brother! There ought to be a law.
- Mike_UpExplorerHek, I can't remember a day over 35 degrees since December. Most days are between 10 degrees and -10 degrees.
- Car_GuyExplorerI feel for you! Reminds me why we do inside storage every year. Haven't been above 50 degrees for 90 days now. Just 59 days before she comes out of storage, 67 days to the first camp. Weeee! Can't wait. But as it stands right now, we'll have snow for the next 4 days. It's nice though, if it snows that means the temperature will be above zero. Had plenty of those this winter...

:B - WA7NDDExplorerBoband4- Thanks for the advice, but I think we are OK. I did the same with a MH I used to have before I built a big garage. I did not use rope to hold the tarp down. I Went to Harbor Fright and bought three twenty-five foot,two-inch wide tow straps with loops on each end. I put those over the top and tied the loops together under the TT. Than ran a rope all the way around the bottom though the strap loops and pulled it tight, at least as tight as I can, tied the front and back down. Worked well, and still is. Only thing is I can hear it flap in the wind a bit out side the bedroom window at night.

You have my sympathy. I live in Florida and I pray it stops snowing up north so I can get my state back from all these snowbirds.
No wait! I'm not done getting their money. :):):)LOL - dclark1946ExplorerI sort of feel your pain. While we have not had any real snow we have had day after day of temps in the low twenties and some mid teens in the Dallas area. We are heading out today for a couple of days at Lake Texoma since the highs will now be in the low 70's. We did not even get our trailer winterized after our September camping trip because I thought we would fit one more trip in before winter hit. I have been running an electrical heater and catalytic heaters (when it got really cold) to keep the temp inside the trailer in low 40's.
On the bright side you will be able to go camping near where you live in the early summer but it probably will be pushing upper 90's by then here. That is when we leave Texas and head for the mountains.
