We will most likely be back next year.
I was a "Spicy Chili" judge. Next year, I am going to be a Spicy Chili entrant. Most were bland, bland. I thought we were in Texas and I would at least break a sweat while tasting the "spicy chili".
I enjoyed the BBQ. I BBQ for large groups and understand the TLC required to make presentable brisket, etc. Previously competed and always enjoy the BBQ atmosphere. I smoked 240 lbs. of brisket over the weekend and 40 lbs. of wild turkeys that my son killed.
I volunteered to bring my large fish fryer and fry catfish, hush puppies, french fries, etc. at next year's TC Rally. Only if PJ and the rally committee wanted something different or even replace the Thursday night Potluck.
