Keystone Hideout 38FKTS

Selling MH for a bunkhouse TT.

How are Keystone products? Any major issues with Keystones quality?
The Hideout 38FKTS is apparently a new model for this year. Front kitchen, middle bunkhouse and rear bedroom with 3 slides. Patio slider door, residential fridge. Kind of a destination type trailer, but still towable if need be.

It will be set on a seasonal site year round.

Thanks!
  • We just sold our Hideout for a little bigger RV and a different floor plan. We had absolutely no problems with it and would certainly have bought another one. I think all the manufacturers are on par with each other for a given level.
  • I just bought a 2016 Keystone Hideout and am very happy with it (I've only had a it a few months though). I was skeptical as it's Keystone's entry level or "Standard" category so I was worried that meant it was put together poorly. This is the 5th RV I've owned over the years and I work in the construction industry so I'm pretty aware of things.

Just realize going in that an RV isn't a house. They are built much more cheaply and can't withstand any kind of usage close to what a house can. That being said Keystone is on par with the other manufacturers of the same price point. If you do an internet search you'll undoubtedly find groups of people with terrible experiences with Keystone or any other manufacturer. All RVs are a bit of a "roll of the dice." Every manufacturer can turn out good and bad units.
