Wow. Who would have guessed the Cummings with new trans would keep up and sometimes beat the V8 diesel up a hill

Impressive

I think I have made my decision now. the cab is far nicer and now the performance is pretty much the same.

NO different than sports or any other media.

Does it really matter to our lives which ball crosses the line/net/goal the most number of times in a season?

They too, are entertainment that are suppose to serve us, yet people have fist fights or loose huge sums of money over it.

Just an opinion, but those who have fist fights over sports (or any form of entertainment) are certifiable idiots.

There will always be those who take silly things far too seriously.

You got that right! I even sunk to a new low and looked at some new Chevy pickups last weekend. Wife wants a new Impala and I might give a GM 2500HD a try. Now that the old engineers have retired, all three are putting out some very competitive vehicles.:B

Drive yourself a new diesel.:B

I've been playing around in a Tundra at work. It's a nice truck and peppy but I hate the way it handles. It's a good truck though.

The Ford test with the 2015 is the most laughable one of any of them so far.
They tested a truck that is not in production, without stating what the power numbers are against 2013 models.

That 2015 may never make it to production. At least not at the power levels it demonstrated in the "test".

It's like running a chipped truck against stock trucks without telling anyone, then when it's production time, take the chip out so it will live and let everyone think it's the same as the truck that did so well in the tests.

The reason for posting the Ford test was to illustrate the '13 RAM's times vs. the Chevy's times because PT.Com decided to leave out the weaker Chevy.

Also your living in a dream world if you think Ford is going to announce power levels at this time.

So you seriously believe that the truck Ford demonstrated in this "test" is going to be the exact same as the one they will sell at a later date?

If so, then you are the one that is dreaming.
If it had passed all of the durability testing necessary, it would be for sale NOW!

If and only if it passes all of the durability tests will it be sold. OTOH, Ford hasn't had too good of a record with diesels, maybe they will bring it to the market no matter what the testing shows.... That was a joke. Ford obviously has to take such testing far more seriously than the others because of it's previous mistakes.

OTOH, maybe its ready now.

Maybe Ford just doesn't want to increase sales and profits too soon. LOL

I don't know what exact truck and calibrations will go into effect in the MY '15, but I'm sure we'll find out early next year, and I'm sure you'll be in denial, and I'm sure the drama and the smoke and mirrors will continue here. :W

Let me say this one more time :S The reason for posting this video was to compare the Chevy vs the RAM since PUT.com chose to exclude a Chevy truck from this test.
Why do you keep bringing up Chevy?
Because I happen to own one now?

Big deal. I have owned them all. My next one may very well be a different brand.

I call these things the way I see them. No matter what brand it is.

Even more sociopathic is hating another brand; you "hate" an object...think on that for a second.

A former colleague was once part of a conversation where a guy was going on and on about doing this mod, that mod, how often he cleaned his truck, etc.

Murph's line: aren't *they* (referring to vehicles) supposed to serve *us*?
