2 x 4's 8 - 12 feet long depending the height of the trailer. Cut the steps 16 inches,
Layout the long 2 x 4's at 12 inch intervals and either screw or nail the 16 inch
Pieces in between. I made mine 15 years ago,keep it the garage. I'm still using it.
