I carry this folding ladder Link . Being 7ft long and only about 4" square, it stores nicely in the front storage compartment. I hardly notice it is even in there when packing and unpacking. I use it to clear the slides of leaves and debris. I'm 220lbs and it is very sturdy. I wouldn't use it as a work ladder as the rungs are too narrow for long term comfort. I think it is perfect for camping.
