Lance 825 pre wired for AC?

In the upper right corner you will see "Support". Go there and you can view TC Brochures and Owner's Manuals for the past 20 years.


So Shiltsy1, the 2010 brochure shows that all their TCs were prewired for A/C

When I bought my 2005, Lance 1030 Lance prewired all units for A/C. You should have a blank outlet cover next to one of your vents, the pre-wire is in there, see below picture for reference. All you need to do is buy your A/C unit, mount it, and connect the wires. Couldn't be much easier.

It's probably wires tucked in the vent area, as mentioned - or, could be a blank place in the ceiling in front of the Fridge - if you see a blank plate in the ceiling anywhere close to where AC would install, that's it.

If you give Lance factory your serial number, they can tell if it's pre-wired, but most of them are, so AC can install easily when a buyer wants it.

You can call Lance, they may have the answer you need, even though you may not have a new TC.

On my 1988 Bigfoot, the vent itself did not have wiring, but it had a junction box in one of the overhead cabinets across from the vent. Actually, it did not even have the hole cut for the vent. I had to find the framing and the hole. It was framed. I found the factory left a slot from the framed hole to the box so you could fish the wires through.

If you do install the A/C in place of the fan, you might consider moving the fan to the bathroom. It will do a much better job than the original bath fan.

easy why to find out.. take the trim off of the vents and see if there is wiring tucked in behind it
