Wild Plum Campground is a great place with the Yuba River roaring by right outside your door. Lakes Basin area is beautiful. Great fishing at Lower Sardine, Salmon and Gold Lakes. And great hiking up to the top of the Sierra Buttes and the fire lookout station. Been there many times!
