- midnightsadieExplorer IIseen it its not the 1971 bronco I had . I,d rather have my old one.
- Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIThe 2 door version is reminisent of the early Broncos
The 'full size' 4 door version reminds me of Chevy Blazer (or a host of SUVs) Nothing exciting/inspiring
Is that a 'side opening tailgate'?
Owned 2 Broncos
A 1972 with Modified 302 V8/4:10 gear/Detroit locker and a 2-Low transfer....floor shifter
A 1978 Full size with 400 V8 Manual trans ......great Low gearing/off road but that 400 couldn't get out of it's own way
Custom built Tenison 12K 2 speed winch and front grill/bumper
Spent a lot of time building that and have scar on chin from a 4" grinder that kicked back on me----ouch! - ^^^ Yes it appears to be a swing type tailgate. Also I do like that it has the spare tire underneath between the frame rails.
- LwiddisExplorer III’m a Chevy guy but the new Bronco looks much better than the new Trail Blazer.
- Grit_dogNavigator#gullible.
The 2 door is a clay model and good for Ford. They made a Jeep Wrangler 15 years later. Good for them..... - Jebby14ExplorerI like the looks, time will tell how capable it is. I suspect it will be priced out of contention in my household though.

- IdaDExplorerI'd like it a lot more if it had a solid axle on both ends.

That’s a good point and I think ford went with a independent front suspension for other reasons Jeep uses a solid front axle. Case in point my wife was ready to purchase a Jeep Wrangler 4 door back in December and after the test drive a bit of caution came up for ride quality and wind noise where the two big concerns. So we decided to wait and see what the Bronco would offer and with a independent front suspension I’m sure the ride quality will be improved but the wind noise is still an unknown. So her daily drive is around Houston/Katy area and off-road is around our hunting property which is dirt roads for the most part so I think this vehicle may fit her needs better.- GWolfeExplorer

That only matters if you're rock crawling with big tires. For the majority that will never see much more than a dirt road the IFS will be fine. Ford still has issues with death wobble in their solid axle Superdutys so why chance it on a new model driven by soccer moms?
