Washington plates truck campers. Truck plate stays on my truck when the camper is loaded. Is it visible with the camper on, no. Do I worry about it being invisible? No. Nor do all the other truck camper owners in WA.
No one that I've sen moves their truck plate to the camper. I think doing that (having two lic. plates on truck camper) would raise an eyebrow of a state trooper more than a plate not being visible due to being on the truck, hidden by a long camper overhang.
I accidentally forgot to renew my camper tabs in November 2015 for the 2016 license year. I probably will not renew them this year until I know that I'm going to actually use the camper.
